About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing compelling, well-researched proposals and bid responses that position our organization competitively. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to craft documents that clearly communicate our value, capabilities, and solutions to prospective clients and funding bodies.

Responsible For
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end RFP/RFQ/RFI response writing, ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
- Conduct in-depth research on clients, industries, competitors, and procurement requirements to inform proposal strategy and content.
- Develop and maintain a library of standard proposal content, templates, case studies, and capability statements.
- Write, edit, and proofread proposals, cover letters, executive summaries, and supporting documents to a high standard.
- Design and execute targeted email campaigns to prospects, partners, and stakeholders, including follow-up communications.
- Collaborate with technical, legal, finance, and operations teams to gather inputs and ensure proposals are accurate and aligned with organizational capacity.
- Coordinate proposal timelines and ensure all contributors meet internal deadlines.
- Track and report on proposal outcomes, win/loss rates, and pipeline activity.
- Support business development efforts through prospecting research, market analysis, and opportunity identification.
- Perform any other assigned tasks and responsibilities as directed by management.
Additional Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, technical writing, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience responding to RFPs, tenders, or grant applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with proposal management tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio, Proposify) is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research skills — able to synthesize complex information quickly and clearly.
- Experience with email marketing or CRM platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
